Raspberry Pi OS Lite (latest)
`Linux raspberrypi 6.12.47-v8-16k+ #1904 SMP PREEMPT Mon Sep 15 13:13:47 BST 2025 aarch64 GNU/Linux`

In browser I tried [http://192.168.1.196:34001](http://192.168.1.196:34001) but it looks like it can’t establish the connection.

But

```auto
nc -zv 192.168.1.196 34001
Connection to 192.168.1.196 port 34001 [tcp/*] succeeded!
```

When I SSH in RPi and I do

```auto
curl localhost:34001
curl 192.168.1.196:34001
```

All the same just hangs there.

Everything else works…

systemctl log

```auto
[INFO] PMAuto started
[INFO] Influxdb is ready
[INFO] Dashboard Server start
[INFO] PmDashboard started
[INFO] Connected to wlan0: 192.168.1.196
[DEBUG] Waiting for InfluxDB to be ready
[INFO] Influxdb is ready
[INFO] Data Logger Start
[INFO] PWM Fan is supported, sync all other fan with pwm fan
[INFO] OLED sleep timeout, sleeping
Could you please let us know which specific model of our Pironman 5 series you are using?
Have you successfully installed the dedicated Pironman 5 software?
If you encountered any error messages during the installation process, would you mind sharing those details with us? This will help us better analyze and resolve the issue for you.
For optimal performance, we recommend using the latest Bookworm version of the Raspberry Pi OS along with our Pironman 5 software.
It’s **Pironman 5 MAX**.
Yes, Pironman software works, fans, mini display…
No errors during installation, it was pretty smooth.
I booted from SD card and then burned the system to the SSD.
NVMe SSD is _Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB M.2 2280_
I installed latest RPi Lite image (no desktop).
We could not find the version of the system you are using.
We suggest that you provide us with the source from which you downloaded the system, so that we can replicate the issue. (Raspberry Pi OS Lite (latest)
Linux raspberrypi 6.12.47-v8-16k+ #1904 SMP PREEMPT Mon Sep 15 13:13:47 BST 2025 aarch64 GNU/Linux)
We recommend using the official Raspberry Pi Imager tool to install the latest version of the Bookworm system, rather than using unofficially released versions to install our pironman5 software.
We used the official Raspberry Pi Imager tool to install the latest Bookworm version. Before upgrading, the version was 6.12.25; after upgrading, the version is 6.12.34.
I used oficial RPi Imager tool to flash the drive. I did the update then following this [https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/os.html#update-software](https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentation/computers/os.html#update-software)
Is there some log I can check for Dashboard or for Pironman software in general? I don’t see any errors in systemctl service log.
It is recommended that after reinstalling the system, please follow our tutorial steps to operate, without updating according to the official instructions.
[https://docs.sunfounder.com/projects/pironman5/en/latest/pironman5\_max/set\_up/set\_up\_rpi\_os.html#downloading-and-installing-the-pironman5-module](https://docs.sunfounder.com/projects/pironman5/en/latest/pironman5_max/set_up/set_up_rpi_os.html#downloading-and-installing-the-pironman5-module)
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install git -y
sudo apt-get install python3 python3-pip python3-setuptools -y
cd ~
git clone -b max [GitHub - sunfounder/pironman5: Code for Raspberry Pi 5 case (Pironman5)](https://github.com/sunfounder/pironman5.git) --depth 1
cd ~/pironman5
sudo python3 install.py
After the Pironman5 software is successfully installed, restart the system. Then check if all functions of the case are working properly. Is the dashboard accessible?
I’d like to propose a fully complete documentation of the problems with InfluxDB default settings as delivered by SunFounder for the Pironman dashboard. Here is my work-around which includes all recommendations from SunFounder as well as input from my own research.
