# Fusion Hat Not working

I unboxed the ai set and ran the first example 1.1 it worked fine.
I go to example 1.1 rgb led. it gives me an error message.
“OSError: Fusion Hat driver not loaded (sysfs interface missing). Run ‘fusion\_hat doctor’ to diagnose and fix.” I run fusion\_hat doctor. Then I reboot. It gives me the same error message.
I run fusion\_hat doctor --fix. Then I reboot. It gives me the same error message.
What should I try next?

Based on your description, you have already tried running fusion\_hat doctor and fusion\_hat doctor --fix, but the problem persists. This could be caused by either a software driver issue or a hardware problem. To help us diagnose more accurately, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Take a photo (Hardware check)
After powering on your Raspberry Pi, please take a photo of the Fusion Hat showing the status of all indicator LEDs (power LED, status LED, etc.) and send it to us.
Step 2: Provide system information (Software check)
Please run the following commands in your terminal and share the outputs with us:
uname -a
cat /etc/os-release
fusion\_hat doctor --fix
This will help us confirm your system and kernel version, and see if we can reproduce your issue.

Thank you for the reply. I didn’t know that i had to power the hat as well as the raspberry pi.
When i connected a usb power source to the hat. It started working.
