Hi all, I just bought a Picar-X kit and this is the first time turning the kit on. The Raspberry Pi turns on okay via the power supply, but when on batteries, there is just a red LED (probably because the power supply is insufficient). The batteries are 2x 3800 mAh. Any help is welcome. Thanks. ---

Did you purchase the battery yourself? What’s the battery specifications or could you please provide a link to the battery? The battery we supply has a capacity of 2000mAh. You can find more information here: [SunFounder Battery Documentation.](https://docs.sunfounder.com/projects/picar-x-v20/en/latest/hardware/cpn_battery.html) If only one red power indicator light on the Robot HAT is lit, it means the battery still has about half of its charge. If all the indicator lights are off, it indicates that the battery charge is too low, and you should recharge the battery. If you have just received the product and only one indicator light is on, this is normal. Therefore, we suggest that you fully charge the battery before using it. We also recommend that you provide us with a video so we can help you analyze and resolve the issue. ---

You are using an older version of the Picar-X product, which does not come with a battery. In the pictures you provided, we cannot see the status of the indicator lights on the robot hat. We are unsure if the switch on your robot hat is turned on. We suggest that you connect the battery to the robot hat, turn on the switch, and provide us with a video showing the status of the indicator lights on the robot hat. This will help us analyze and resolve the issue. ---

Do you have a link to the battery? Please provide it so we can confirm the detailed specifications. Once you have connected the battery to the robot hat, use a multimeter to measure the positive and negative terminals of the battery connector on the robot hat. Let us know what the battery voltage is. Please also confirm whether the battery is sufficiently charged and if it has been charged recently. ---
