Hi, I’m no native speaker, so please excuse awkward formulations. My problem: It seems the case is not properly protected in means of electrostaticity. Although I assembled everything according to manual, when I touch the case, there is a voltage spike. This seems very unsafe for hardware and also for me an my cats. I can’t imagine I am the only one experiencing such problems. Can somebody confirm this issue?

> My Pironman 5 works fine unless you touch the case and any level of static shock takes place, whether you feel it or not. The activity light turns red and the entire Pi locks up. Have to unplug it and re-plug it to get it back. Any thoughts on how to ground this puppy so it won’t do this? It’s plugged into a Canakit 45W power supply that is connected to a grounded surge protector strip. Thanks for any ideas anyone might have. And why does this happen in the first place? Makes it very difficult …
