# Pironman 5 Max OLED Wakeup with Startbutton

Hello, i have a new Pironman 5 max. The OLED works fine within the the Timings 5 to 600. But there is no chance to wake it up with the Startbutton, like it is documented in the Manual. Tab on the Case is also not working.

Is there a Chance to set it always on?

This sounds like the power button may have a poor connection. Please check the following:

Open the case and check whether the two metal spring pins on the button board are making firm and full contact with the soldering pads on the Raspberry Pi.

Inspect the button’s ribbon cable – make sure it is not broken, torn, or damaged.

Check the connector – ensure that the power button’s terminal is fully and securely inserted into the socket on the board.

If the issue persists after checking these points, please let me know. If possible, take a clear photo and send it to me.

Thanks for the quick Answer,

the Power-Button itself is working, because the Menu for shutdown apears. Only the Display is not turning on.

It appears that the power button itself is working (since the shutdown menu appears), and the OLED screen is also functioning.

Please try reinstalling the Pironman 5 software. We have released a new version, which may resolve this issue. Please uninstall the current version and then install the latest version.

```auto
1. Uninstall the current pironman5 software:
cd ~/pironman5
sudo python3 install.py --uninstall
2. Reboot the Raspberry Pi as prompted, then remove the pironman5 directory:
cd ~/
sudo rm -rf pironman5
3. Run the following command to reinstall the software for your Pironman 5 model:
curl -sSL "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sunfounder/sunfounder-installer-scripts/main/pironman5/install.sh" | sudo bash

```
