Hello Everything else appears to be working on my Pironman V2 except my RGB lights. They worked for a couple of hours and then stopped. Could they be defective? I am including my config file and log file for diagnosis purposes. Do you mean the RGB lights work fine firstly? And then it doesn’t work right? Do the RGB lights not work on both the light strip and the pironman motherboard, or is the light strip not working and the RGB on the pironman motherboard is working? 1. you can try to execute sudo pironman start command, restart pironman service, see if the RGB can work properly? 2. You execute sudo raspi-config to enter the setup page to see if spi is enabled. If not, please enable spi. After enabling spi, restart the Raspberry Pi, and then see if the RGB can work normally. 3. If RGB still can’t work, please reinstall the system, and then reinstall the pironman software service. See how it works. ---

How Do I locate the motherboard RGB? I see two lights lit up one on top and one underneath. Are those the motherboard RGB? I tried step 1 and step 2 with no success. I will try 3 next but I suspect that it is a mechanical issue. ---

The pironman motherboard has a total of 8 RGB lights, 4 in each of the corresponding positions on the front and back. If possible, we recommend you to record a video for us to see what happen after you start the pironman. ---

Right. You should be powering the Raspberry Pi directly with the external power supply, in which case the Pironman board would not be getting any power, resulting in the RGB not working. You need to connect the power supply to the power port on the Pironman board to power both the Pironman board and the Raspberry Pi. This way, all the functions of the Pironman board can be realized. By connecting the power supply to the Pironman board, the Pironman board will power the Raspberry Pi. If you were to connect the power supply directly to the Raspberry Pi’s USB-C port, it would only perfectly power the Raspberry Pi, while the Pironman board would not be getting perfect power. ---

I wanted to thank you for the support but I now have another problem. Unfortunately. I was preparing my Pi4 so that it could boot off of the SSD. This is a problem caused by the new system kernel 6.6.x: [Raspbian 12 BookWorm, kernel 6.6.20: RuntimeError: Failed to add edge detection · Issue #1136 · gpiozero/gpiozero · GitHub](https://github.com/gpiozero/gpiozero/issues/1136). We have switched to InputDevice to solve this problem, please update the pironman code and reinstall it: cd ~/pironman git pull sudo python3 install.py After successful installation, reboot the Raspberry Pi.
