I am running Ollama on Pidog and Piper TTS keeps speaking the asterik ( * ) symbol in the response text.
is there a way to either filter the ( * ) from the response or have Piper TTS ignore it during speech ?
It seems difficult to filter out the “*” on the TTS end, as removing it may alter the meaning. The better approach might be to try instructing the LLM:
Your output will be delivered through TTS. Please answer in a speech-friendly format and ensure no awkward punctuation marks, such as “*”, are included.
