Unfortunately it still doesn’t work. See the following
I am using a new cable (the third new cable):
The contacts are clean and do not show any abrasion or debris.
There is no left to right motion in the male cable in the female socket.
The black clamps that hold the cable are secure.
And the results:

I should have lost patience with your organization months ago. Now I find that you can’t receive a word or a pdf document. For what it is worth I installed another new cable (the third) and I still have the problem.
What is the csi pin? Where can I find it? The contacts on the end of the cable are clean and straight - it is a new cable.
I checked both sockets and there is no debris in them, I even cleaned them out with a gentle blast of dry compressed air.
I gently but firmly secured the division plate.
Thank you for your continued patience and for all the efforts you have put into troubleshooting the camera issue.
We still have not been able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. To help you move forward, we would like to provide you with a spare camera module and a spare FFC cable.
Please contact service@sunfounder.com and provide your original order number and shipping address. We will then send you the replacement parts.
After you receive them, please try the new camera and cable. If the camera works, then the issue was with the original components. If the problem still persists, then the issue is likely with the Raspberry Pi board itself.
We hope this helps resolve the issue, and we appreciate your understanding.
I temporarily installed the new camera and it works.
Jubilation!!
Great, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need any further assistance.
