[/quote] Thank you for reaching out. Here are the steps to properly zero your servos and calibrate your PiDog:

  1. Before Running the Zeroing Script:
  • Attach the servo horn to the servo.
  • Manually rotate the servo horn to randomize the servo’s initial position.
  1. Zeroing the Servo:
  • Run the zeroing script servo_zeroing.py.
  • Connect the servo to the P11 pin—you will observe the servo returning to its zero position.
  1. Final Installation:
  • With the power ON, securely mount the servo to the metal plate.
  1. Servo Calibration:
  • After all servos are zeroed and installed, perform a full servo calibration. This step is critical to ensure PiDog operates stably and efficiently, correcting any imbalances or errors from assembly or structural tolerances.
