We are sorry to hear that your Pironman 5 Max is experiencing an issue with tap-to-wake after the system update. We are glad to hear that your OLED display is back to working.
Regarding the tap-to-wake feature, we would like to clarify an important point: the tap-to-wake (knock to wake) feature on the Pironman 5 Max could potentially cause unknown conflicts in certain situations, so we have removed this feature in the latest version update. The current way to wake the OLED is to briefly press the BUTTON on the chassis once.
Please try the following:
Briefly press the BUTTON on the chassis once to confirm the OLED screen wakes up properly.
If the OLED wakes up with a short BUTTON press, this is the normal behavior of the new software version, not a malfunction.
If you would like to adjust the OLED screen sleep timeout, you can run the following commands:
sudo pironman5 -os 60
sudo systemctl restart pironman5.service
The unit is seconds; you can set a value that suits your needs.
If the issue persists, please provide your OS version and firmware version, along with any error messages, so we can further diagnose the problem.
I knew it .. Ok will check thanks so much …
