Pironman 5 Case Oled display no longer working

Hi,

I recently disassembled my Pironman 5 case as I wanted to swap the Raspberry Pi 5 to a 16gb model. I installed Raspberry Pi OS from scratch and installed the Pironman 5 case software.

The mini display no longer works. I think the software has installed correctly as I can access the dashboard.

One possibility is that I have damaged the ribbon cable for the screen. Is there a way I can trouble shoot this to see if the display is being detected?

thanks

Please follow our tutorial FAQ to verify:

  1. Ensure the FPC cable of the OLED screen is securely connected. It is recommended to reconnect the OLED screen and then power on the device.
  2. Confirm that the Raspberry Pi is running a compatible operating system.
  3. Check if the Pironman5 software is installed correctly. What version of the software do you currently have installed? Please execute the command cat /var/log/pironman5/main.log to view the log.
  4. Use the command sudo i2cdetect -y 1 to check if the I2C address is enabled, and provide us with a screenshot of the printed information.
  5. If the address is not detected, enable I2C: Execute the command sudo raspi-config to enable the I2C service, then restart the Pironman5 software service and check if it works.
  6. Please visit the PC dashboard and provide us with the debug log information for the OLED.
