Connecting AI fusion hat camera gimbal fails

I have followed the instalation video for the fusion hat camera gimbal. When assembling the camera gimbal in the AI fusion HAT I had to press a reset button when connecting the servo 1 and servo 2 to the power pins (PWM) and I should get a flashing green light as ack. I pressed the reset button but I did not get any acknowledgment. How should I proceed? Should I disconnect the servos(2), power off the HAT and try to reconnect the servos. Or which steps should I follow to indentify the problem?

It has nothing to do with the servo, as long as you don’t reverse the servo cable connections. Connect the yellow wire to the yellow pin, the red wire to the red pin, and the brown wire to the black pin.

Did you press the Zero Button twice quickly? After pressing it twice quickly, the white LED should flash.

The green LED is the power indicator. It will stay on after you press the power button on the Fusion HAT.

Alternatively, you can take a photo or video of the Fusion HAT after powering it on and send it to us.

Thanks for the quick answer! I saw a mail reasoning that a possible cause of the problem could be some I2C failure. It seems that the problem in my case was related to the software. When I loaded the software image in raspberry pi, it flagged that there updates that I accepted. The uppdates must have messed up the ‘Ai fusion software img’. I created a new ‘software image’ and now it is working. When we press the reset (x2) and the whiite light flashs, what is indicating?

When the zero calibration button is pressed twice and the white LED starts flashing, it indicates that the device has entered calibration mode.

In this mode, the system sets the current PWM position as the 0° reference point. All subsequent angle control will be based on this calibrated zero position.
