My cpu fan started on boot up but its gone off & the 2 RGB fans are spinning fine. I know the main cpu fan will only come on at 50C but when running the command to see if its connected i get a 0. i know its in correctly as it fires up when i boot up my Raspiberry pi 5. with this am i okay in thinking that its connected correctly? ALSO the other question is. i type my IP address and 34001 for the dashboard on another computer and i am unable to connect to the dashboard. does it need to be on the pi itself or any pc on my network?
The PWM fan operates dynamically, adjusting its speed based on the temperature of the Raspberry Pi 5:
Below 50°C: Fan remains off (0% speed).
At 50°C: Fan runs at low speed (30% speed).
At 60°C: Fan increases to medium speed (50% speed).
At 67.5°C: Fan accelerates to high speed (70% speed).
At 75°C and above: Fan runs at full speed (100% speed).
If you want to verify whether the heatsink fan is working, you can change the RGB fan mode to Quiet mode, which will turn off the RGB fan. After some time, when the CPU temperature exceeds 50°C, check if the heatsink fan is functioning.
I typed the IP address of the dashboard and 34001 on another computer, but I can’t connect to the dashboard?
Your computer’s network needs to be on the same local area network as the case to access it properly.
This means that the network configured in your case must be the same as your computer’s network for proper access and connection.
It is essential to provide power to the case and start our pironman5 software service for the OLED screen and other functions to work correctly. Accessing the dashboard requires this as well.
