What is the Fusion HAT+ Expansion board? Is it just an updated robot hat?

Thank you. I had only found this for sale on the Sunfounder website, without too much detail. I didn’t find the full instructions, but I’ve now found those instructions , and it’s all clear now. Looks very interesting, thanks.
