I have read the guide HAOS Addon and unable to open the drive in windows. I do not have an option to assign a drive letter and even tried mounting with EXT volume manager.
Yes the OLED and CPU fan does work if i install Ubuntu it is not working when i install HAOS on the PI.
No issues with RGB fans and RGB, just the OLED and CPU fan not doing anything and i am not going to butcher the SD and risk breaking the OS and have to reinstall it all.
How does this resolve the issue?
I have the Pironman5 plugin installed, the OLED is not working unless you modify the pins as per the doco i posted. WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED? What is your refund process?
The reason the OLED screen and RGB fan are not working is that I2C and SPI are not enabled. Therefore, please follow our tutorial link to install the Pi Config Wizard add-on. After successful installation, enable I2C and SPI, and then install our Pironman 5 add-on. This will allow all functions of Pironman 5 to work properly.
thids is the same result i had last time, now my Home assistant wont boot and stuck on "Returned from Supervisor: System is not ready with state: setup.
now i need to pull the case apart pull the m.2 out format and reinstall and then reupload my config. nice work at making a bigger mess.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and are eager to help you resolve the issue.
If it’s a hardware problem, we will send you a new piece of hardware.
Currently, we would like to assist you in determining whether the issue is related to software, hardware, or the installation and configuration of the add-ons.
Following the guide from this link to configure the files will not work:
This tutorial is not applicable to the new version of Home Assistant because, in the latest version, the SD card reader is not recognized when plugged into the computer, making it impossible to modify the configuration files. This is an official issue; once your SD card has the Home Assistant system installed, reinserting it into the computer’s USB port will no longer display it as a disk.
If you encounter any issues at any step, please describe the problem in detail. Providing images or videos of the issue will help us assist you more effectively.
Hi, I was following your manual and I ended up with system not booting. NVME error 8. So I inserted Raspberry Pi OS, open config and enabled I2C, SPI and (reenabled) NVME. After this change I2C and SPI are on and my system is booting from NVME drive
That’s correct. To boot the system from the SSD, you’ll need to configure the necessary files. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this at the following link: Copy OS from Micro SD to NVMe SSD.
