Piroman 5 Max - Won't boot with NVMe PIP plugged in

When I connect my PCI-e Ribbon like in the FAQ images my device won’t start. If I unplug the PCI-e Ribbon then the power light comes on and I am able to boot the device. I’ve tried with both PCI-e ribbons, I’ve put that jumper FORCE EN - nothing works unless I just leave it out.

I’ve been round the block on this with chatgpt too.

Any ideas? tried to buy another NVME pip but they are out of stock.
