Infrared controllers are supported.
The IR receiver signal pin is connected to IO13 of Raspberry Pi, we only provide the electronic device so that you can use it to realize the IR remote control function, especially in some multimedia systems, but you need to install the driver according to the different systems, different remote control, set up the function of the different buttons, or write your own program instructions.

The vast majority of infrared remotes work.
We don’t know what your needs are with the remote, so we can’t really give you an answer.
You can go to Amazon or ebay and look for remotes that support controlling IR IR receivers, they should all work.
