I am currently running my home assistant server on a raspi5 with pie and nvme.ssd hat (geekworm) … works perfect BUT cooling is an issue so I would love to get a pironmen kit …

  • can I use my geekworm name hat I stead of the pironmen ?

If you only need the heatsink in the pironman5 kit to work with your parts that is fine.
However, if you want to realize the function of pironman5, you need to install our pironman5 hardware, with the installation of our pironman5 software, the function can be realized properly.
Maybe I didn’t understand your question, please explain your needs in detail, provide more information to us, pictures or videos, so that we can understand your problem more intuitively.

It is not compatible to install POE HAt in pironman5 chassis because the structure is different and there is not enough space for you to install it.
Regarding whether POE HAt is compatible to work with pironman5, I’m very sorry, we haven’t verified it against tests and can’t answer your question.
