Hello, is there an updated list of NVME compatibility for the Pironman 5? I’d like to buy the Samung 990 Pro 2 TB, but I’m not sure if it’s compatible.
Thx

Is the Pironman 5 compatible with the - Samsung 970 PRO 512GB - NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD?
Thank you

Our NVMe PIP is designed according to the official Raspberry Pi HAT+ standard. This ensures compatibility and optimal performance with Raspberry Pi devices.
I have this in my Pironman5 and it’s great. Make sure you turn on Gen3 NVMe to get the best results.
Hi, can you explain about to turn on Gen3 NVMe? And do we talk about the 2TB NVMe?
Thank you!
Here’s a bit more info on enabling Gen3 with Raspberry Pi 5 and NVMe SSDs. You need to make sure your SSD is fast enough (most Samsungs support Gen3 speeds). Also, you’ll need to update your config.txt (see above) and you can then run the NVMe benchmarks here: How to Set Up and Benchmark Your NVMe on the Raspberry Pi 5 | by Tim Moody | Medium
