I have aquired a RasPad tablet with a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ but there is not power supply.
The tablet says 5.2V 4A max so is this correct?
I have a variable DC power supply that I can set to the relevant voltage but I don’t know if this is correct; any advice as to the table power requirements?
If you can’t find the original power supply, using a variable DC power supply is also feasible, but you need to pay attention to the following points:
Polarity is very important! Make sure to confirm the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of the power supply connector. The correct polarity for the DC connector is: center positive, outer negative.
Connect the wires before powering on: First, correctly connect the output wires of the adjustable power supply to the power connector on the RasPad. Once you have confirmed that the connection is secure and correct, you can turn on the adjustable power supply.
Observe the status: During the adjustment process, pay attention to the voltage and current readings displayed on the adjustable power supply, as well as whether the RasPad starts normally and if there are any signs of overheating or unusual odors.
Which version of the Raspad do you have?
We recommend providing a product image for us to review.
Do you remember the specifications of the original power supply?
The power specification for this version of Raspad is 5.2V 4A. You can use an adjustable DC power supply to set the output around 5.2V 4A and see if it can provide normal power to the Raspad.
