Hey all, I am in the planning stages of prototyping a project I am working on and looking at potentially using the Robot Hat from my Picar-X to use as the, well uh, Robot Hat, haha. I was wondering what the maximum rated current draw for the two XH2.54 Motor Ports are? I have the latest version of the Robot Hat with the speaker on top, in case it varies by model. What is the output voltage? I’d measure it myself but I don’t have my multimeter on me at the moment.
Just trying to see if I’d be fine using the motor drivers equipped on the Hat PCB, or if I need to scrap that idea and just get some motor drivers. I looked through the various documentation on the motor ports for the Robot Hat, and several docs mention drivers, so I assume the Picar-X’s drive motors are directly powered from the IO on the Pi, right?
