Uninstall pironman5 Module

I’m a real rookie both with linux and Pironman5 Max.

After setting the power off options in raspi-config, after reboot I forgot to shh back to pironman raspberry pi and then accidentally installed pironman5 module on my desktop raspberry pi! Ok, so I feel a real idiot.

So my obvious question is how do I uninstall it?

Thanks in advance for your kindly responses.

To remove pironman5, first you need to stop services. Go in terminal enter

sudo systemctl stop pironman5.service

And second is to delete all files of pironman5. In terminal enter

sudo pcmanfm

In the files Explorer go at the root, click on menu to find files\folders, search for pironman5, select all found files and delete them.

After that if you want to reinstall pironman5 software just follow the right tuto for your version of pironman5

Hope that’ll help you!

To make sure I understand correctly, could you clarify a few points?

After configuring the safe shutdown feature for your Pironman5 Max case, you restarted the system.

You mentioned that you don’t currently use SSH to connect to the Pironman5 Max.

Do you have another, separate Raspberry Pi 5 board on which you have already installed the Pironman5 software?

If that is the case, here’s a possible simple solution: You could just take the SD card from that other Raspberry Pi 5 and use it to boot your Pironman5 Max case. This would save you the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

Thanks very much, that’s perfect and easier than I expected.

Hi thanks for your reply, it is resolved but to clarify:

I had SSHd to my new Pironman5 MAX, and configured safe shut down, After it rebooted I forgot to SSH back to that board, I was using another RPI5 as my desktop and so my terminal was now active onthat board not Pironman5 MAX. I then mistakenly installed pironman5 service on my desktop RPI. There fore I didn’t want to reinstall that whole instance of RPIOS.

Thanks again.
