I assembled everything and tested my Pironman 5 case, and it’s working.
However when I was cleaning up, I realized that I had forgotten to install the thermal pads.
How does one tell if your unit is overheating?
Is this a critical, or can I run it as is?
It doesn’t seem to be generating much heat.
You might want to start to disable it - this is asking for a dead unit.
Did you run the install script fully? I’m having problems with the dashboard…
satow:The purpose of putting thermal pads is to transfer the temperature to the radiator aluminum quickly, so that the fan can blow away the heat easily.
If you don’t have a thermal pad, the heat transfer may be slower. It won’t affect anything else.
We have CPU temperature monitoring on our dashboard. (as shown)
Logix247: Our tutorial instructions by going to your browser and visiting http://:34001

The IP is the network that the PI5 is configured for, the IP will be displayed on the OLED screen after you install the pironman5 software.
For example, if your OLED screen shows the IP as: 192.168.0.125, then you go to your browser and type: http://192.168.0.125:34001 to access the dashboard.
Instead of accessing: localhost:34001, is that what you are doing?
You can check the other posts users shared:
localhost somehow shows a failed to catch, but using the IP does work… weirdly enough…
You can access the dashboard from your IP address and it is working fine.
Regarding your question about accessing the dashboard via localhost, we will take care of it.
