Hi, just a quick question about the PiDog, specifically the Robot HAT v5: is it compatible with a Hailo-8L / Hailo-8 HAT installation? Can both HATs be installed at the same time?
I suspect that even if it is technically possible, it might draw too much power or drain the battery very quickly. There could also be temperature issues, but I’m wondering whether the setup is possible at all.

The Robot HAT V5 does not have pass‑through GPIO headers, so once it is installed on the Raspberry Pi, it occupies the entire 40‑pin GPIO. Therefore, you cannot directly install a Hailo‑8L or Hailo‑8 AI HAT together with the Robot HAT V5.
While it is theoretically possible to use GPIO extension cables or stacking headers to connect both boards simultaneously, we have not tested such configurations. We cannot guarantee compatibility, stability, or performance. Additionally, you would need to consider power supply, cooling, and mechanical mounting constraints.
For these reasons, we currently do not support using the PiDog (Robot HAT V5) together with a Hailo AI HAT.
