DC motor in Arduino UNO R4 kit current to high!

Hi! I bought the Elite explorer kit for Arduino UNO R4 WIFI, and I find that the DC motor in it commands a 2,1 A @ 5Vdc I think it’s a little high for this type of motor. At the same physical size I have one that takes 170 ma @ 5Vdc, both with the simple fan provided in the kit as a load. So it doesn’t work with the Breadvolt power supply if it runs on the battery. The rotor resistance for the Sunfounder motor is 0,3 ohm while the other motor has a rotor resistance 8 ohms. It’s a good thing I had that other motor on hand. With the transistors provided with your kit it’s impossible to drive it. At least the TA6586 can drive it. You should do something about it, maybe put in the kit a motor that can be used with the rest of the kit.

Thank you for listening.

Motor operating current in the Elite Explorer kit is indeed too high, which prevents the Breadvolt power supply from delivering sufficient power to the motor effectively. For optimal performance, please prioritize using a motor with a lower current rating if available. We will address this issue in future improvements
