The IR Sensors return a 1 when they detect an obstacle, according to the manual, when is obstacle free it should show a 1 and when detect an obstacle it should 0….. Am I doing something wrong?

That’s correct. The infrared sensor returns 1 when it detects an obstacle and 0 when there is no obstacle.
If your detection is abnormal, we recommend sending us a video of the issue. This will help us analyze and resolve the problem for you.
It is highly likely that the infrared sensor has not been calibrated properly.
Please calibrate it by following the steps in our online tutorial:
