Dear SunFounder Team,
The reported issue is that CN0387D the right-side LED does not illuminate and the IR sensor is unable to detect obstacles.
However, the reported failure rate is relatively high (2 out of 13 units.), so before concluding that this is a component defect, could you advise whether there are any known setup, calibration, assembly, firmware, software, or application-related causes that could result in this behavior?
In particular, are there any firmware updates, configuration settings, or troubleshooting steps that should be checked before the parts are considered defective?
Kind regards,
Takashi

Hi,
I double-checked everything using the troubleshooting guide you provided.
I adjusted the alignment of the infrared transmitter and receiver and also adjusted the potentiometer as recommended. However, the unit still does not operate properly.
Could you please advise on any additional troubleshooting steps or possible causes of this issue?
Since all recommended troubleshooting steps have been completed and the issue persists, could you advise whether this behavior may indicate a defective unit? If so, could you please provide the RMA procedure(Over Seas)?
Thank you for your assistance.
Kind regards,
Thank you for your follow-up and for trying the recommended troubleshooting steps.
To help us pinpoint the exact issue, could you please record a short video showing the following:
