I/O Expander LEDs

Hello guys,

Just received my first PIRONMAN5. Love the case, besides the MicroSD Extender I/O error, I can figure out how to enable the LED lights from the IO Expander. I tried the command pironman5 -re true and nothing happens, and if I type pironman5 -c it gives me the config file which states the LED should have been turned on already. Any idea what’s wrong with the LEDs? The LED fans works fine, and OLD display doesn’t work either.

Now, my OLED screen is offfically toast because I had to tear apart the system several times to trouble shoot the microsd extender and OLED screen cable is teared.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

You have installed the good software for Pironman5, many people install pironman v2 by mistake. 4. Set up or Install Software — SunFounder Pironman 5 documentation
Can you access and change config into dashboard?

So you means 4 RGB LEDs doesn’t work, 2 RGB fans are working, OLED worked but you broke it. For OLED you can get replacement part, just contact them at service@sunfounder.com
For the SD extender, they know about issue, they are working on a new part, you can contact them to be on waitlist.

For RGB led, have you update all system? sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-full upgrade , update kernel sudo rpi-update and then reboot system.

That fixed it. Now I just need to wait for the MicroSD extender and OLED display and I am golden! Thank you very much for your help!
