Hi, I am asking about connector J3 on NVME PIP board of Pironman 5 case: how should I use it for supply more power to intalled SSD?
Should I short circuit same pin (ground to ground & %v to 5V) or what?
Any case, the 4 pin header connecting IO Expander board with J3 on PIP board, seams to be to short (only about 2.5 mm out from J3, see picture) for connect any jumper or connector.
Can you explain please?
The power is connected through the USB-HDMI adapter, which supplies power to the PI5. At the same time, the 5V pin of the USB-HDMI adapter is connected to the J3 of the NVMe PIP, thus powering the NVMe PIP. Therefore, no further actions are needed on your part.
Additionally, the PI5 can also supply power to the NVMe PIP via the FPC cable, ensuring that the NVMe PIP module receives sufficient power for the SSD to operate normally.
