Low Voltage Shutdown using PiCrawler and Rasperry Pi 4B

Hi!
I just build a PiCrawler. But it has one expectional difference to the normal setup.
I used the robot hat from a PiDog which I bought already some month ago.
The PiDog was so far never assembled by me. I used the Pi 4B and the robot hat before just for testing purposes.

Anyway, the PiCrawler often creates a low voltage shutdown on the Pi4B.
For example while using the move.py in the examples-folder.
Is it expected, that the low voltage shutdown will happen with the robot hat of the PiDog?
I thought it might be more convinient for me to use this one as it has a charge function for the battery.

  1. Your PiCrawler’s Robot HAT is the battery-free version, which may cause the low-voltage issue you encountered (especially with weak battery power).
  2. If you use PiDog’s Robot HAT with PiCrawler instead, this problem should not occur under normal conditions.
  3. Note: Extremely low battery levels might still trigger low-voltage warnings.

I charged the battery of the PiDog Robot Hat completely. Still this issue exist.

  1. Does this issue also occur when using the Robot HAT with your PiCrawler?
  2. Could you please share photos of both Robot HATs ?
