So, I recently got a pidogv2, and I just cannot get it to work properly. The most that works is the speaker and the demos for the sounds it can make, but quite literally nothing else. I’m sure that I followed the instructions correctly, though. I’ve tried to calibrate the servos, and nothing happens. Before, pressing the zero button on the robot hat would zero the servos, but even that doesn’t work anymore. It also doesn’t register the DOF-IMU or the RGB light strip. Sometimes, when I turn on the pidog, one of the servos will start moving around in tiny quick movements. I have no clue what to do and am wondering what I did wrong. Help would be greatly appreciated!

mine is the opposite it worked at the beginning but after getting everything setup the speaker stopped it really does seem like its always something ,Plan to spend many hours chasing clitches and bugs.

It suggests the hardware itself is fine, and the issue is more likely in the audio driver configuration, so let’s focus on that.
Please follow these steps:
First, check whether your Raspberry Pi OS is 32-bit or 64-bit. If you are using a 32-bit system, some audio-related dependencies may not install correctly, so we recommend using the 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS.
Reconfigure the I2S audio driver. In the Raspberry Pi terminal, run:
cd ~/robot-hat
sudo bash i2samp.sh
According to our official documentation, this script may need to be run several times before it takes effect. After running it, please reboot your Raspberry Pi and test the speaker again.
Check that the audio output device is correct. Run aplay -l in the terminal to list the available audio devices, and make sure the default output has not been switched to HDMI or another device.
If the above steps do not help, please confirm that your robot-hat was installed using the 2.5.x branch:

cd robot-hat && sudo python3 install.py
To help us pinpoint the issue more accurately, could you please also tell us:
Your Raspberry Pi model, and whether the OS is 32-bit or 64-bit;
The output after running i2samp.sh, and whether the speaker works again after rebooting;
Whether the speaker is completely silent, or produces abnormal sound (noise, intermittent audio, etc.).
If convenient, you can also send us a screenshot or screen recording of the terminal output (you may upload it to Google Drive or another cloud drive, and set the link permission to “anyone with the link can view”).
