The Pironman 5 Max , it’s a nice case. i lie the cpu cooler.
Am still a bit puzzled why the did not add thermal pads for the other 2 chips,
The cooler is covering that area.
But my biggest disaapointment is the fan noise from the case fans.
When the are mounted inside the case the start to get loud when the fan runs’
It’s a sort of whine. And yes the screws where seated correct.
I now have the fans unscrewed and the seems ok as long the not touch any object.
Is there a solution to fix this ? I can turn them off, and let them switch on when things get really hot.
But that does not fix the sound problem, it only delays it.
Already tried it also with only one fan and different mounting
constrcutions as far possible. But the sound keeps coming back.
I’m not sure but I think you installed the case cooling Fan in wrong side. Take a look to the instructions.
That’s how i did mount it, i double checked the video with installation.
Also the other way around would not work. the fan blades would hit the case.
The air is blowing outside on the back, you can feel it.
For now i keep the fan setting at 4: Quit.
Would have been nice if you could adjust the fan speed.
Closed the case, the problem is in the top part of the case i think.
If i put weight on the or pressure the pitch noise is gone.
I go investigate that and mabye add some special anti vibration mat in the inside..
Ok, Update.
I did add vibraation pads in the metal case. it’s 1 mm thick that’s normal used in cars.
It gives the case a nice feel on weight as bonus. It sounds much better now.
Still if you press the top the ssound is going more quite.
The problem is that the backplate where the fans are mount is a sound amplifier
If you press that the pitch nose is going down. I did lose the fan screws so theree’s less
hard contact to iot, does not impact the working but i think it lowwers the sound problem.
Also, i will set the fan setting to mode 4: Quit. so it only start when thing really get warm at 70c
Now i can play more with it.
Please provide us with images of the RGB fan assembly.
Additionally, if the fan noise is loud, we suggest recording a video for us to confirm.
At the beginning of operation, the fan may be a bit noisy. Could you observe the fan noise after running it for a while to see if it decreases or disappears?
If it is confirmed that the fan is indeed noisy, we will send you a replacement RGB fan.
Can you tell me howto post video and images ? For some reason posts with images ,
video or sound are flagged. I will remove the links from the old posts.
Also it seems am not alowed to post links. And the upload button does not work.
But am confused why the first post got flagged.
