Hello, I have an older model PiCar S. I would like to power the entire car, hat and RPi, with mains power. What are the specifications for a power supply to do this? Thanks!

If you are talking about a DC power supply, we recommend using a DC power supply not exceeding 9V, with an output also suggested to be within 9V 2A.
Thank you! Yes, I meant the DC power requirement. I took the hat off yesterday (probably should have done that first) and it looks like it says 6-12V DC input, but you still recommend 9 V? Thanks again, and for the quick response.
Yes, you are correct. The Robot Hats support a DC input of 6-12V, with 9V being the ideal voltage for optimal performance.
We recommend using a 9V DC power supply, although a 12V DC power supply will also work.
