Remote Desktop Access for Raspberry Pi

I have a RasPi 4 model B and I also purchased the Raphael Kit - Ultimate Kit for Raspberry Pi. I’m following the included tutorial but I’m unable to complete the Remote Desktop Access for RasPi step via Windows PowerShell.

I believe the hostname for my RasPi is: raspberrypi

However when I try the command “ping -4 raspberrypi.local” I receive this message: Ping request could not find host raspberrypi.local. Please check the name and try again.

I have already enabled the SSH radio button on the RasPi but besides that I’m out of ideas.

Any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

1.Have you configured the network or connected an Ethernet cable to your Raspberry Pi?
2.Or have you connected a display, mouse, and keyboard to your Raspberry Pi, obtained the IP address, and then used the PuTTY tool to establish an SSH connection?
