servo on galaxyrvr is working but

servo on galaxyrvr is working but does not react to the command from my phone, how do I test the pin or the signal coming to the rover? thanks

Are you using the SunFounder Controller to control the servos? What is the current status? Have you found and connected to the Galaxy network in the WiFi settings?

Has the SunFounder Controller successfully connected to the GalaxyRVR? Could you please provide more details about the issue you’re currently experiencing?

I am using an iPhone and the Gx-RVR works great except the servo on the phone does not want to control the servo on Gx-RVR. I did not test the distance sensors yet but will get to it soon.
So, I know the servo works but does not respond to the command from the iPhone. How do I find out how to fix or where to look for the problem. Thanks

Sorry, the servo does respond, I did not know it needs its own specific port #6. BUT, it does not stay in the position, it defaults back to its original setup and so the camera returns to its initial position. Thanks much.

Could you please describe more specifically what you mean by " returns to its initial position"? I haven’t been able to reproduce this on my end.

Well, the slider is preset on my phone and when I slide it to the left the camera does rotate in that direction but once I let go the slider it bounces right back into its initial position and so the camera does as well, goes into its original position. I thought it would stay where I would slide the slider, I tried to hold the slider in the new position but once I let go it just bounce back into its original position, like the driving sliders.
It is a really good feature for the motors to stop if the sliders let go it just does not work with the servo. thanks

The camera servo returns to center by design when the control is released. I initially thought there was a problem as well.

Yes. When you drag the servo slider, the camera moves accordingly. When you release the slider, both the slider and the camera return to the center position.
