I bought the 7 inch because it was powerd by twelve volts .would like to run it from a different power supply such as 25 amp that powers my amateur radio station . Or an automotive power supply . These sources are 13.8 volts is this possible or will it do damage ?
It is possible. As long as you use a power supply that does not exceed 15V, it will not cause damage.
