it works now and I can use it almost like I want it to but on the browser (I din’t test other apps on te PI) the proportions are all wrong so its really hard to navigate the websites, the URL thing is really big with the bookmarks and if I wanna see the whole page I need to mes around with dragging the page across the screen, how do i fix this?

and can i switch easy to somtimes use HDMI monitors if i need a bigger screen and so i can switch back fast?

Hello, I’m glad to hear the screen is working now. Let me address your two questions one by one.

About the wrong proportions in the browser — the URL bar and bookmarks are really big and you have to drag the page around to see everything
At a low resolution like 480x320, the browser’s interface elements (address bar, bookmarks bar, fonts) appearing large is normal — it’s not a driver or screen fault. You can try the following to improve it:
In the browser, press Ctrl and minus (Ctrl + -) to zoom out the page, and Ctrl and plus to zoom in;
Use full-screen mode (usually F11) or kiosk mode when browsing, which hides the address bar and bookmarks bar and frees up more display space;
If the fonts still feel too large, you can reduce the font size or adjust the display scaling (DPI) in the system settings.
These adjustments only affect how things look and won’t affect the screen’s functionality.
About switching to an HDMI monitor when you need a bigger screen, and switching back quickly
The Raspberry Pi 5 supports HDMI output, so you can connect an HDMI monitor when you need a bigger screen. The GPIO screen and the HDMI monitor can be used at the same time — just plug in the HDMI monitor and it will work.
