Canakit Micro disk should be ok, right?

I bought an RPi5 in a Canakit a long time ago. Finally getting around to use it with a Pironman 5. Canna kit comes with Raspberry Pi boot and os software already installed on the micro card. I should be able to use that to boot up the Pi and THEN copy over to an NVMe. I don’t need to first install the Raspberry Pi imager and copy an OS. True or false?

Thank you

You’re absolutely right. However, could you let us know what version of the operating system you have installed on your SD card? It seems you’ve installed some additional software on it, correct?

We can’t guarantee that the software you’ve installed won’t conflict with the Pironman 5 case’s own software. That’s why we still recommend performing a fresh installation of the system, and then installing our dedicated Pironman 5 software. This is the surest way to get all the case’s features working properly.
