Change SSID and Password in the OS

I want to operate my PiCar in a different location (i.e. on a new WIFI).
How do I change the SSID and Password in the OS (either RPi or EzBlock)?
Do I have to load a new SD card with the imager and configure it or can it easily be changed in the existing OS?
Is it possible to enter multiple WIFI SSIDs and have it connect to the nearest one?

Sorry, no.
You must use the imager to load a new SD card and configure it.
If you want to switch WiFi, you can switch the phone’s WiFi.
When you switch the phone’s WiFi to a network in a different LAN than the robot, and connect to the APP, there will be a prompt to reconfigure the robot’s WiFi network.

Yes you can, but it’s more complex since the loss of the wpa_supplicant method.
Follow this…

But if all you want to do is use the app, then just follow Sunfounders instructions.

Sorry I am a little confused.
Are you saying that I will have to load a new SD card or if I just switch the phones WIFI and open the App on the phone it will provide a prompt that will allow me to change the WIFI network in the EZBlock OS.
Do you think Spf650’s answer would work for the EZBlock OS
Thanks

Two ways to change WiFi.

  1. Reconfigure the WiFi network when reinstalling ezblock OS. This method is probably not what you want.
  2. You can use your phone to switch to different WiFi networks to connect to the APP. If the phone WiFi network and the robot device WiFi network are not in the same LAN, there will be a pop-up window to let you change the robot device WiFi network.
  3. The Spf650 method may be feasible, but we have not verified it. You can verify it.

Thank you. I will use the App on my phone to switch the WIFI network. I tried your method Spf650 but it was a little beyond my current level of expertise, Hopefully I may be able to use it in the future - Thanks for the input.
