Does having the battery connected to AiFusion hat have any impact on chips, registers or line states?
Moreover for a hard shut down :-

After executing sudo shutdown and confirming that the system has completely powered off, connecting the lithium battery to the AiFusion expansion board generally does not cause any abnormal effects on the chips, registers, or circuit state.
The expansion board is specifically designed to work with the battery connected. The battery primarily serves power management and should not adversely affect the Raspberry Pi or Fusion HAT under normal circumstances.
Under normal conditions, there is no need to disconnect the lithium battery after the system has been properly shut down.
