I got myself and my son a Pi-crawler with the Raspberry 4. The building part was fine. I installed the latest build of Ezblock on the microsd card and I do get the welcome sound when powering up the Pi-crawler. I must say that the customisation tab was greyed out before writing it on the sd so I couldn’t setup a hostname.
Once I got the power sound and check on ezblock website I can’t connect because I don’t have the hostname. I tried ‘Raspberry’, ‘Raspberrypi’ and ‘raspberrypi-ezb’ but it fails each time. When I try to connect with the ios ezblock app, it does detect the rasbperrypi and there is a MAC address under it. But when I click on it it says “Bluetooth connection failed, please try again”.
I apologise, I may have misunderstood both of your requirements then.
I thought that the other poster had got it working with 1.75, allowing password set up etc which I thought was your requirement, but that they then also wanted a direct method to run rather than via a Web interface?
