We have a fleet of about 20 Picar-X’s that we use during field trips and a bunch more that we have to be assembled.
I have noticed that after a while of using the video_car.py file the cars seem to stop listening. The car’s back wheels will start spinning in opposite directions making the car spin in place.
There seems to be no rhyme or reason why this occurs. Some cars do it more than others and I can’t locate the exact issue.
For reference, we are using both Pi 3s and Pi 4s but it happens on both.
