I have been using PiDog V1 for over a year and all was working fine until recently. After updating the Raspberry software, some of my apps (and the original demo files) don’t work anymore (issues with Rpi camera software for example).
Now that two versions of the PiDog exist, how can I ensure my V1 has the latest PiDog software versions installed? Are the packages on Github under sunfounder/pidog.git and robot-hat.git compatible with both versions of the PiDog?

The libraries and code provided in this tutorial are compatible with both PiDog V1 and V2.
If you already have older versions of the libraries installed, we recommend that you back up any custom files you need, then delete the existing library folders, and re‑download the latest versions following the steps in the guide.
