Raspiaudio not working

Raspiaudio not working

After trying everything including stranding on my head (see topic) I totally failed at getting
any sound out of Pironman Raspi 5 Bookworm.

So, I bought the raspiaudio hat sound card and connected it. I plug my speakers (powered by powered USB hub) into the hat. Nothing.

Raspi-config system audio flashes and returns to system.
Raspi-config advanced audio – pulse or wire – no difference… nothing.
I have tried many many different ideas relative to config.txt – no change.

Does this work…with anyone?

Update to the above:
For grins, I booted from a newly created boot disk… although the system/audio on raspi-config did respond, there was no discernible difference. No audio out of the raspiaudio hat.

This should not be this difficult.

There might be a GPIO conflict between the Audio HAT and the Pironman 5’s IO HAT. I’m not sure which specific model you are using. You need to check whether the GPIO pins used by your HAT conflict with those used by the IO HAT. If there is a conflict, you can remove the jumper cap on the IO HAT to disable that specific function and prevent the conflict.

If you are using Pironman 5, you can find the GPIO pin allocation for the IO HAT here:

If you are using the Max version, you can see the GPIO pin allocation for the IO HAT here:

DAC 32-bit 384 KHZ

from RASPIAUDIO

It does not show any further information on the hat.

Here is the GPIO pin assignment for our Pironman 5 IO HAT:

For the GPIO pin assignment of the Raspiaudio Hat sound card, you will need to consult the official documentation.
