My understanding is that there is code out there like “PiCar-X_v3.0_2024.img.xz" but i cannot find it?
Could anyone PLEASE help me achieve some success with this?
Packaging an OS such as raspian and libraries such as Sunfounder in a 3rd party img file is not a good idea. It can easily be full of bugs, security holes and malicious code.
If you want to use a complete prebuilt img then use Sunfounders ezblock variant. This is an officially supported piece of code and safe to use.
If you’d rather use an OS plus Sunfounders libraries, then I’d suggest using Trixie os. Then start the Sunfounder library installation and post in this forum the exact error messages that you get. Don’t proceed to next step until the previous one is error free
