PiCar-X help and suggestions

Hi everyone, I am new in this group so please apologise my stupid questions. I bought a Picar-X and assembled it hopefully well - including RasPi 5 and writing the image onto a SD-Card. Now I want to check it, so I turned it on and tried to connect via bluetooth. Unfortunately, I was not able to connect via my IOS tablet nor via my Macbook. It seems that the bluetooth LED flashes, but I couldn’t see the car as available bluetooth connection. Therefore also EZBlock didn’t show a bluetooth connection. What did I wrong?

  1. Have you installed the correct Ezblock OS image system?
Here is the download link for the Ezblock OS image:
    Microsoft OneDrive

After downloading the Ezblock OS image package, unzip it to get the .img file. Then use the Raspberry Pi Imager tool to burn the image system onto your SD card.

Insert the SD card with the burned system into your Raspberry Pi 5 and start the Picar-X product.

To connect the product to EzBlock, please follow the tutorial steps:

Note: You do not need to manually connect via Bluetooth settings. Simply open the EzBlock app and connect directly through the app.

Thank you for your quick support. It seems that I used an older version of your installation guide “https://docs.sunfounder.com/projects/picar-x/en/stable/preparation/installing_the_os.html”

with might lead to my issues :). I will follow your advice and I am convinced it will work.

Have a nice weekend
