Sorry, we don’t have Kali Linux for now, we recommend using Raspberry Pi OS.

Then why is the Title of Step 4 in the tutorial:

  • Set Up on Raspberry Pi/Ubuntu/Kali/Homebridge OS

I mean, Kali is literally listed as a supported OS in MANY places throughout the setup instructions.

Are you talking about the pironman V2, or the pironman5?
The pironman V2 is a PI4 case and the pironman5 is a PI5 case.
Currently both pironman V2 and pironman5 are compatible with Kali systems.

Pironman5 on a Pi5.
I need to apologize, after throwing Raspbian on an SD card, I realized I had an assembly problem. After getting it working in Rasbian, I dropped my Kali SD card in, and it came right up.

Going to localhost:34001, I get the top header bar, but no content in both (OS’s). So on to the next issue. Love the OLED display though, pretty slick!

Our tutorial instructions, by going to your browser and visiting http://:34001
https://docs.sunfounder.com/projects/pironman5/en/latest/control/control_with%20dashboard.html
The IP is the network that the PI5 is configured for, and will be displayed on the OLED screen after you install the pironman5 software.
If our tutorial is misleading, please feel free to give your personal suggestions here, we will consider your suggestions one by one and improve the tutorial. We will consider all your suggestions and improve the tutorial to serve you better!
For example, the IP shown on your OLED screen is: 192.168.0.125, then you go to your browser and type: http://192.168.0.125:34001 to access the dashboard.
Instead of localhost:34001.
