The assembly illustration 7 shows connecting the 2-pin Wire from next to the battery to next to the USB-C socket. It clearly shows the wires untwisted. I cannot insert the plug on the main board unless I twist the plug, thus twisting the wires.
I’m concerned that this reverses the polarity.
Any assistance on this point please?
I’ve now completed the build and everything seems to be working fine, so I guess that was just an illustration error. The illustrations on the build instructions are outstandingly clear, apart from this one point. This is the illustration I was referring to.

The 2-pin wires have reverse polarity protection on the connectors, so you just need to connect them according to the orientation of the interface.
