I have encountered this new issue using my Pironman5 installation, and I wonder if anyone else has.
My main OS install is the usual Raspi OS with a fully working installation of the Pironman5 software. Everything is running as it should, with the dashboard display updating in real-time and the fans and LEDs working as set up.
When I use the SD Card Copier to copy my working OS onto the NVME drive (always making sure that the UUIDs are different), a rather strange thing happens when I restart using the newly installed NVME image that I just cloned from a working SD image.
Everything starts up correctly and even the Fans and LEDs work correctly in the way that they did using the SD Card image. However, when you open up the dashboard using http://:34001, even though it comes up correctly with all of the appropriate displays, they are all “frozen in time” and will not auto-update in real-time in the way that they should normally do.
I have tried all sorts of things to try and get the dashboard working correctly using the NVME image but all attempts fail and if I revert back to using the SD card image, the dashboard works correctly, auto-updating as usual there.
Do you mean that you want to clone the system and software from the SD card to the SSD and then boot from the SSD? The functionality of pironman5 works normally, but the data displayed on the dashboard is frozen and does not refresh, correct?
If the system and software on your SSD are not cloned, you might try reinstalling the system on the SSD, then installing the pironman5 software again, and see how it works to determine if the same issue persists.
What specifications does the SSD you are currently using have? Please let us know.
