Pironman5 nvme not responsive

I have just put together my pironman5 and it works fine booting off of a micro sd. I am running with the official power supply. It works fine with a couple of external disks on usb but I would like to get the nvme working.
I notice that my NVME PIP has a status and power led. These never light and the nvme ssd is never detected. Looking at logs there was no mention of the nvme so I assume it did not respond to a probe during startup. I checked and reseated the fpc ribbon and that had no effect. I have updated /boot/firmeware/config.txt with dtparam=pciex1
The nvme ssd is a crucial p3 so it should work.

Any suggestions on how to move forward with this?

Now working. I found the extra fpc cable, installed it and now the pwr and status lights are lighting and the nvme ssd is there and working.

Thanks
